The Lake X Property is a bird watcher’s paradise and is home to an array of species including wild turkey, osprey, wood stork, white ibis, blue herons, sand hill cranes, red shouldered hawks, owls, eagles, Florida kite, kill deer, cardinals, woodpeckers, and many migratory birds. In addition to the numerous specious of birds, there is a thriving herd of Florida white tail deer that can be seen in abundance throughout the property.
The lake has a number of different species of fish including largemouth bass, bluegill, spotted gar, bowfin, channel catfish, white catfish, black crappie, redear sunfish, golden shiners, American shad and warmouth. Alligators and turtles can be seen all year round. Opossum, raccoons, squirrels, and snakes are also indigenous to the area.
